Make Women Safe's goal is to bring systemic improvements to women's safety. Today majority of victims don't get justice, real culprits live without fear while the false accused live in fear.

The goal of the NGO is to pursue systemic change by :

1. Bringing gender sensitization programs

2. Getting the best Police initiatives in India to be replicated in other parts, such as Delhi

3. Improving the legal and judicial system which takes far too long to give justice. Our biggest success has been getting the Juvenile Justice Bill to pass in Rajya Sabha in 2015. We also vigorously pushed for proper Rape Evidence Kits across India, something which has now been mandated by Hon'ble Smt. Maneka Gandhi.

We also help victims wherever possible, and recently helping a man whose daughter was killed by the serial killer in Gurgaon. We had met this man 2 years ago. If we had good forensics many lives could have been saved. We are also supporting the Haryana topper who was raped on her way to college 2 months ago.

Testimonials on WAKE

One of the greatest things we can do is to reach out and do something good for those who are underprivileged, be it in the form of love, compassion, time or money.

Thank you EO Gurgaon for giving me an opportunity in bringing a little smile and some sunshine on others.

Guneet

We all make humble, kind donations as part of our lives. We don’t do it for anyone, but for ourselves, to keep us content and full of gratitude. But there is a special gratitude to EO Gurgaon Wake initiative only because it spreads and wakes the importance of positivity, gratefulness, and deep gratitude of what we achieved and who we became as individuals. Thank EO Gurgaon for your commitment to spread such awareness!

Aditi

EO wake helped me cross path with 21 beautiful souls and know their stories. I’m in gratitude to have been able to be part of their journey. I want to thank EO wake for initiating the act of kindness and helping me grow.
